Chairman
“I was 36 years old then. I was young and at the prime of life when I took the risk towards my dream. But things, naturally, ended up starting small, which wasn’t a bad thing because we wouldn’t be where we are now if it weren’t for that first step. In 1984, I founded Cirtek with the confidence that one day, we will put the excellence and ingenuity of Filipino engineering on showcase to the whole world.
If I had something to back up my position as Chairman, it would be more than just my educational background or engineering know-how. It would be building quality relationships. Back then, we only had 3 customers. To this day, I still fondly look back at those customers who have given us a reason to push forward. Since we have this strong principle of having our customers be our partners, I owe much of our success to them.”
Vice Chairman and President, Cirtek Holdings
Vice Chairman and President of Cirtek Holdings. Started the journey with Cirtek from the start and as Operations Manager in 1989. Vast knowledge and experience in semiconductors, business management, finance, operations.
“Company growth and profitability are words often thrown around in businesses. Entrepreneurship, on the one hand, comes in the form of relationships. To be able to empathize and build relationships with customers to drive company improvement is what sets myself and Cirtek apart from simply any other business. Having been with Cirtek since its inception, I am awed at how we started from a small building in Manila to now having 3 factories serving customers worldwide.”
Vice President, Cirtek Holdings
“As Vice President and Corporate Information Officer of Cirtek Holdings, I recognize how fortunate I was to learn about the industry at a young age through my schooling and training. I went to De La Salle University in 1999 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Entrepreneurship in 2002. That prepared me to take a Master’s degree in the University of San Francisco in 2005, focusing on Financial Analysis.
I am proud that Cirtek is a stable landmark in the Philippine semiconductor industry and has innovated with the times to offer consistent quality products and has continued to build solid relationships with its founding customers who are with the company to this very day.”
Executive Vice President / Chief Technology Officer
“I have been interested in engineering for as long as I can remember, but I was particularly drawn to its applications in communication and interconnectivity. That’s why I decided to take up Electronics and Communications Engineering in De La Salle University.
A managerial position can be a tough job to nail, but when one is given the chance, it should not be passed up as it can be a gateway to limitless innovation. As a manager, I see business not just as a sum of parts to make profits, but as a living piece of technology which is meant to bring value to the world and improve people’s lives.
Challenges of the ever-changing world are endless and people need their friends and families to hold on to. Connection. This is what my goal is as President of Quintel Solutions.”
Executive Vice President / Chief Finance Officer
“Working for the family business is not as simple as it looks but I am blessed to be able to have this opportunity and to contribute to the success of the company in my capacity. My interest in Finance started when I was young through learning about stock investing and analysis of companies. I further developed this through my degree in Management of Financial Institutions in De La Salle University.
Before becoming EVP and CFO of Cirtek, I joined my father every day to learn about the ins and outs of semiconductor manufacturing by being in the production line. I am proud to work with each and every employee of our company to make excellent products to top-tier global customers around the world.”
Vice President for Sales
“A lot of companies are powered by profit, but I am personally powered by people. My spark seemed to have arisen from my desire to build relationships with people. Given that, I have spent most of my career widening my horizons while also making sure to keep my foot to the ground.
I began my career in 1980 as a quality engineer at Stanford Microsystem before venturing into process engineering in 1982 at Dynetics Incorporated. These experiences led me to become a technical product manager for the European market. One thing led to another and I honed my technical skills with sales and accounts management as well. Finding opportunities in places around the world always sounds grand, but it also feels like a chance to come back home as a way to share one’s experiences.”
Vice President for Operation
President, Cirtek Electronics
“A mechanical engineer by trade, I understand the precarious balance between the need to survive and the need to live for something bigger than yourself.
In the early days, the semiconductor and electronics industry in the Philippines didn’t have a clear roadmap yet but through 32 years of experience in engineering, combined with 40 years of outsourced semiconductor assembly and test (OSAT) experience, I have found my home in the emerging giant that is Cirtek Electronics.
As a certain famous scientist once said, “If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.” Personally, I may not be a giant, but sharing the view with others, even from the ground, has been more rewarding.”
Quality Director
“We like to take pride in designing quality products but it’s never an easy task. It takes failure upon failure to get to a design that works. And while tech is driven by results, we are especially driven by the process. Being the Director for Quality, i see our business in that perspective on a daily basis.
I graduated from the University of the East with a Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communications Engineering (BSECE) in 1984. It took over 20 years of exploring the field of Production and Process Engineering before I decided to carve out a space for myself in management. Engineering, as a career on its own, can be pretty lonely. When you have a team, that’s when the excitement starts.”
Comptroller
To quote Benjamin Franklin, he says, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest”. As Cirtek’s technology is based on skills and knowledge, it would not go far without proper financial expertise, which Susan focuses on as Comptroller.
As one of Cirtek’s key managers, Susan balances the needs of the company on a daily basis while ensuring the financial health of the company, along with top management and the CFO. Hailing from an Accounting background, she is not only skilled in matters of balance sheets but in the financials of all things semiconductors as well.
Assistant Corporate Secretary & Chief Compliance Officer
HR and Admin Director - Cirtek Electronics Corporation
One of Cirtek’s foundational pillars of it’s institution, Milet embodies the saying of Cirtek’s Chairman, which is “People are our assets”. Grounding everyone to be focused on delivering excellence and keeping motivations high through ups and downs is not easy but it is the main task of Milet as EVP for Human Resources.
Not only is she adept at taking care of colleagues, she also has skills in Management Engineering and is well-equipped with a cadre of certifications spanning Leadership, Risk Management, Strategic Business Planning, and the like.
Chief Internal Audit Officer
“Having an eye for detail is something that is very important to me, and a skill that I have somehow come to with ease. I took up Accounting at the Lyceum of the Philippines University and little did I know that a world of more than just numbers would open up to me.
As Chief of Internal Audit at Cirtek, I am proud that I am able to contribute by fusing precision through numbers with the precision of semiconductor engineering. After all, although we are dealing with very small amounts and very small microchips per piece, the sums are definitely formidable.
After work and during my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoying simple pleasures of life.”
Vice President for Operations
